The 282350WHX rotary style in-wall volume control is perfect for adding additional speakers in whole house audio systems or just providing an easy way to adjust speaker volume in a room. Unlike basic volume controls, the 282350 series has a built-in impedance-matching auto former allowing the addition of up to 16 pairs of speakers from a single pair of amplifier channels that are all controlled from this single volume knob. This stereo volume control handles 4 or 8 ohm speakers and up to 50 continuous watts with a peak rating of 150 peak watts. When used with the rear channels of a receiver or a separate amplifier this volume control allows you to easily add music to a bedroom, garage, patio, bathroom, even the entire house for a low-cost background music system!
