The N-899 Pocket Tone Generator is what every installer needs to check out faulty components in a stereo system: speakers, amplifiers, equalizers, electronic crossovers, etc. using the alligator and RCA phono plugs. Instructions included. This 9-Volt unit is designed to provide an 800 Hz test tone. The alligator clip output can drive a 2, 4, or 8-Ohm speaker with up to an 8-Volt P-to-P signal. The RCA lead outputs supply a 0 Volts constant tone to drive an amplifier, equalizer, or electronic crossover. LED indicates On/Off with a Push-On/Push-Off switch located on the top.
